Handmaker youth volunteer winter event set for Jan. 13

Handmaker Youth Leadership Team will hold a winter volunteer event starting at 2 p.m. Jan. 13 at Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging, 2221 N. Rosemont Blvd.

Jewish rock star Recht to perform here Monday

Youth can take part in Farm to Table project

Handmaker to host series on writing, making books

Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging will present a series of events in May, June and July focused on celebrating lifelong learning.

PREPARED TO ADMINISTER AID

The Temple Emanu-El Kurn Religious School held a First Aid/CPR Class on March 27. The course was geared toward teens and preteens who baby-sit or help take care of siblings. Eleven students attended the class, taught by registered nurse Fran Bickart.
