When the Vail Theatre of the Arts was built in 2008, construction costs came in well above the budget. So the theater was designed with fewer seats, and the lobby was removed from the plan.

Rofida Khairalla's character, Ethel P. Savage, holds her
precious teddy bear, which bears a secret. Taylor Bergan plays one
of Savage's stepsons, Senator Titus Savage, in the production of
the comedy "The Curious Savage."
Weeks and weeks of work came together last Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday when the Empire High School Drama Department brought to
the stage "The Curious Savage."
Singer Joe Bourne sang at weddings in Europe for 25 years before
coming to Tucson about 10 years ago.
Joe Bourne and his trio - Sly Slipetsky on piano, Scott Black on
bass and Matt Mitchell on guitar - will perform a musical tribute
