Caregiver gets 30 days in jail for stealing jewelry
A Tucson caregiver who stole and pawned 10 items of jewelry from one of her patients was sentenced to 30 days in jail and three years' probation Thursday in Pima County Superior Court.

Patricia Hoffman of Tucson has been named one of 13 finalists in a nationwide art competition. Her oil painting titled "Purple Mountains" will be featured in Expressions 2012, an award-winning calendar celebrating active aging and the arts.
