The Sporting Chance Center cost $6 million and was built through a partnership between Tucson Medical Center, Pima County and Southern Arizona Community Sports.
This is the southern half of the indoor Sporting Chance Center on the northwest side at 2100 W. Curtis Road (at North La Cholla Boulevard). The full 40,000-square-foot space can accommodate up to five basketball or eight volleyball courts.
Jeevaj Bondalapati, center left, and Alejandro Gonzales, center right, chase down the ball during a game of Futsol indoor soccer at the new facility.
A 40,000-square-foot indoor sports center is scheduled to open Aug. 4 on Tucson's northwest side.
