The mother of a Sahuarita High School student who witnessed part of the locker room assault on a classmate was the first to notify police, police and court documents indicate.

Nine Sahuarita High School wrestlers are facing kidnapping and aggravated assault charges in connection with an incident involving another student at the school, police said.
