The tamed mustang "Mouse" that Nicholas Ivie rode in the Border Patrol walked with an empty saddle and Ivie's boots in the stirrups. A horse-led procession brought Ivie's body from a Sierra Vista funeral home.

Nicholas Ivie's brother, father and other family members were among the many at the funeral. Ivie died Tuesday when he was shot in what federal investigators believe was an accidental exchange of gunfire at night.
