The new 7,675-square-foot Sentinel Peak High School, which is an
alternative school in the Flowing Wells School District, took six
months to complete and cost $2.2 million. Classes at the new campus
will start Tuesday.

Starting early next year students at Sentinel Peak High School
won't have to attend classes in timeworn buildings in an industrial
part of town.
The Flowing Wells Unified School District will ask voters in the
fall to reauthorize a maintenance and operations budget override
that has benefited the district for more than 20 years.
