Proposal to silence train horns seen as part of Tucson's transportation-hub goals
The long blast of train horns may soon be history in the heart of the Old Pueblo.
Part of St. Mary's, Sixth St. to close through end of May
St. Mary's Road and Sixth Street will be closed between Church and Granada avenues starting Saturday morning.

The park would be at the northern entrance to downtown, and traffic would flow beneath the park and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, near the North Ninth Avenue-West Sixth Street intersection.
