PHOENIX - Arizona legislators have approved a bill to bar a student group from receiving fees collected by the three state universities.

PHOENIX - A spokeswoman for the Board of Regents admitted Tuesday the panel's vote on Monday to stop funding the Arizona Students' Association was not on the posted agenda, but denied the action violated the Open Meeting Law.
The Arizona Students'
Association is calling on the public to contact lawmakers and
ask them to "save Pell." Monday is Save Pell Day.
"Veterans were called to serve and now we can honor their
commitment to service by eliminating the barriers they have to an
affordable and accessible higher education."
