The Vail School District has decided to go forward with building
a new high school to open by the 2012-13 school year.
The Vail School District is holding a town hall Tuesday to
discuss a new high school scheduled to open there in 2012.
When Stephen Placencia was undergoing chemotherapy for a rare
form of liver cancer, his parents played card games with him for
hours on end.
Superintendent Jay St. John says he has "followed the rule of keeping kids first."
On Wednesday, Sahuarita Superintendent Jay St. John will walk
away from the school district he's led for more than a decade.
"If I'm feeling upset, I tell him," Michael Buss says of Callaway, a therapy dog who helps Michael and other kids at Sycamore Elementary.

In her tank top and athletic shorts, 28-year-old Sarah Panzau holds nothing back. She has scars on her face, and the students at Cienega High School have no choice but to look at what is left of her arm, which was amputated from the shoulder down in 2003.
