Salvation Army Christmas Dinner

One of three food lines kept busy filling plates as servers wait at the end of the line to distribute food during the annual Salvation Army Christmas Dinner at TCC held on Christmas Day, on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in Tucson, AZ. Before and during the annual event more than 200 volunteers worked in front of and behind the scenes to cook 160 turkeys and deliver, prepare, distribute and serve more than 2000 free hot meals and desserts, to the needy, homeless and local community. They also distributed more than 500 mobile meals and more than 1200 sack lunches. Christmas guests enjoy a dinner with all the trimmings, takeout lunch bag, holiday musical entertaiment, festivities and a gift from Santa for the children.
