Qualifying for Rodeo Parade Horseback Marshal

Rider George Flores eases his horse Smokey towards a downed flag that is spooking the horse at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds. This is the 16th year for Flores as a marshal but only three years for his horse. Horses can scare easily so getting them used to strange sounds like band music and new objects like flags can help them adjust to some situations they may encounter at the parade.
