Gerald W. Archuleta, 33, was arrested July 12, 2013, after he entered an eastside home through an open door and the owner called 911. Archuleta kicked in the bedroom door where the resident was hiding, but did not harm the man. According to a sheriff’s report, Archuleta “appeared to be in an altered state of mind during the encounter and had some type of drug in his system.” He is facing charges of first degree criminal trespassing and criminal damage.
