Chico’s Smoke Shop was established in 1982 as King's Smoke Shop. In 1993, the late Jose M. Francisco (Chico) took over ownership and it became Chico’s Smoke Shop.
In 1993, Chico’s Smoke Shop was passed to Chico’s daughter Esmeralda Francisco. Esmeralda continues day-to-day operations with the help of her son Richard Francisco.
The Tohono O’odham Swap Meet
The Tohono O’odham Swap Meet was first established as Westover Swap Meet in 1992. When late Jose M. Francisco (Chico) took over ownership in 1993, he founded the Tohono O’odham Swap Meet along with his daughter Esmeralda Francisco. Esmeralda operates Chico’s Smoke Shop and Tohono O’odham Swap meet with the help of her son Richard Francisco.
Tohono O’odham Swap meet is a household/antiques yard sale swap meet along with a variety of food vendors. This is the true original swap meet of Tucson.
