Fiery Orioles Manager Earl Weaver dead at 82

Earl Weaver, the notoriously feisty Hall of Fame manager who guided the Baltimore Orioles to the World Series title in 1970, died at age 82 on Saturday. His marketing agent said he died on a Caribbean cruise associated with the Orioles. (Jan. 19)
