The Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo cycling event is an overnight mountain bike race that begins at noon Saturday and ends at noon Sunday (Feb. 19-20, 2011) at Willow Springs Ranch north of Tucson.

The 12th annual race includes 1,850 cyclists who compete for prizes as solo riders or on teams.

Each rider tackles a 16.1-mile loop at least once. The group or rider that completes the most laps within the 24-hour period wins.

Cyclists and support teams set up a tent city at the Ranch and live there for the weekend.
