A Tucson police officer was involved in a shooting on the east-side Tuesday night, authorities said.
Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman, had not arrived at the scene, and had no details to release shortly before 9 p.m.
The shooting occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 500 block of North Harrison Road, just north of East Broadway, said Capt. Barrett Baker, a Tucson Fire Department spokesman.
Tucson Fire paramedics treated and took a man in his 30s to a hospital, Baker said.
The condition of the man was not immediately available.
No further details were released.
