A man shot outside a north-side restaurant Wednesday later died of his injuries at a hospital, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson police spokesman.
Police scoured the neighborhood near the Eegees, 3872 N. Oracle Road, but did not find the shooter.
The victim and the shooter, both men, drove in separate cars to the Eegees and had an altercation in the parking lot. Shots were fired, and the victim was struck.
The shooter ran away, leaving his car.
