Mirror Lab's hardest job is now complete

Some 40 people work at the Steward Observatory Mirror Lab at the University of Arizona, where this $23 million mirror for the Giant Magellan Telescope in Chile was recently completed. The project includes eight mirrors at a cost of $120 million.
