Saguaro National Park West will host the fourth annual Civilian Conservation Corps Recognition Day on Saturday at the park west of Tucson.
The free event, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., honors the workers of the Depression-era corps. They constructed dams, buildings and other structures on park and national forest lands.
Speakers, displays, films and tours of a CCC campsite will be part of the day's program.
Events will be centered at the park's Red Hills Visitor Center, 2700 N. Kinney Road.
