Two people had to be rescued by members of the Northwest Fire District's Technical Rescue Team after their vehicle got stuck in rushing water at Sanders and Twin Peaks roads Sunday afternoon.

A man had to be carried out because of a previously fractured leg. A woman was able to walk out with the team's assistance, said Capt. Adam Goldberg, a public information officer for Northwest Fire District.
