Another cold morning, another record low for Tucson.
The temperature dropped to 17 degrees this morning, breaking the old record low for the date of 20 degrees in 2007, the National Weather Service said.
Tucson also hit a record low Monday morning. Monday's low at Tucson International Airport was 21 degrees. That breaks the record low for the date of 22 degrees, set in 1940.
The weather service has issued another hard-freeze warning for tonight until 8 a.m. Wednesday.
A hard-freeze warning is when temperatures are expected to be at or below 28 degrees, according to the weather service.
The weather service said subfreezing temperatures will exist from about 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., with hard-freeze conditions lasting from about 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Lows this morning in the Tucson area are expected to be in the upper teens, but some areas could see temperatures drop into the single digits.
Lows Wednesday morning are expected in the lower 20s.
It should begin to warm up Wednesday.

Safford: 10 degrees, breaks low record of 12 set in 1963.
Sierra Vista: 16 degrees, breaks record low of 19, set in 1964.
