Tucson got some measurable rain from isolated thunderstorms that moved through the area this afternoon.
The National Weather Service reported .05 of an inch of rain at the Tucson airport from the storms.
Sahuarita received about .16 of an inch according to Pima County flood control gauges and the Santa Cruz River at Ina Road got .59 of an inch of rain, according to the county gauges.
The weather caused four vehicle crashes on Interstate 10 between mileposts 214 and 226 in the Picacho area, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
One crash involved seven injuries, but none were life-threatening, DPS said.
Daytime heating allowed the storms to form enough to bring scattered rain, according to the National Weather Service.
This will likely be the only chance of thunderstorms through the week as a high pressure system will move in, dropping the chances of rain in the forecast.
High temperatures in the coming days could reach about 110 degrees.
