Two special forces service members were injured Thursday during skydiving training at Pinal Airpark north of Tucson.
The U.S. Special Operations Command service members were hurt at about 12:30 p.m. "while participating in routine military free-fall training," said Kenneth McGraw, a spokesman for the command.
Both were taken to University of Arizona Medical Center, McGraw said. He said their conditions were not known, and their names were not released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, McGraw said.
The training was at the command's Parachute Testing and Training Facility at the airpark, said McGraw.
He said training programs are operated at the airpark year-round.
