Saguaro National Park East closes its visitor center for renovation

Scot Stouffer, left, and Jeremy Ayala build a handicap ramp for the temporary visitor center at Saguaro National Park East. The permanent building, background, is expected to reopen around the end of the summer. Its exterior appearance, considered to be historic, won't be changed.
