Dance fundraiser set for St. Luke's Home
Put on your dancing shoes and get ready for the 94th Annual Baile de las Flores.
The event benefits St. Luke's Home, an assisted-living facility for low-income elderly Tucsonans.
The event will include a silent auction, live music, dancing and entertainment, dinner and a raffle of Roseann Munger's painting "Esperanza."
The festivities are 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. St. Andrew's Drive. RSVPs are not required.
The cost is $150. Call 977-4304 to buy tickets.
Sunday talk to focus on the Arizona Trail
Matthew Nelson, director of the Arizona Trail Association, will talk about the trail, which runs the length of the state, including through Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
After the presentation, Nelson will guide a hike along some of the trail.
The talk will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at ranch headquarters at the park, 16721 E. Old Spanish Trail.
Park use fee is $5 per car for up to six people.
