Murrieta Park focus of public meeting
Discuss future needs and improvements to Joaquin Murrieta Park at an open house at 6 p.m. Tuesday at El Rio Neighborhood Center, 1390 W. Speedway.
Vice Mayor Regina Romero, Tucson Parks and Recreation Department staff and the project consultant will listen to ideas for the development of a park master plan.

Join cleanup effort along Santa Cruz
Everyone is invited to take part in the Santa Cruz River Cleanup from 7 to 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The Santa Cruz River runs along downtown Tucson and is lined with walking trails and picnic areas. Volunteers will pick up trash and pull buffelgrass.
