A man died after his motorcycle and a car collided tonight on the Tucson area’s northwest side, authorities said.
The crash occured on La Cholla, just south of the intersection of Ina and La Cholla, shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, Northwest Fire District said in a news release.
Northwest Fire paramedics arrived within 3 minutes to find a man in his 50s with life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, said Northwest Fire spokesman Capt. Adam Goldberg.
The patient was taken to the University of Arizona Medical Center’s trauma unit, where he died of his injuries, Goldberg said in the news release.
His name has not been released.
