The Pima County Public Library is offering help in learning how to download free books, movies and music to that new gadget you got as a gift.

More than 166,000 library patrons downloaded digital books in fiscal year 2011-12, said library spokeswoman Kenya Johnson.

Bring your library card and device. Help times this week include:

• 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive. Call 229-5300 to register.

• 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at the Sahuarita Library, 725 W. Via Rancho Sahuarita.

• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Oro Valley library. Call 229-5300 to register.

• 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Flowing Wells Library, 1730 W. Wetmore Road.

• 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Nanini Library, 7300 N. Shannon Road.

• 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Quincie Douglas Community Literacy Center, 949 E. 35th St.
