Patricia Noland, Clerk of Pima County Superior Court since 1999, will be retiring March 31.
“The past year has brought many changes to my family and personal life,” Noland said in a news release. “It is now important that I make my family my number one priority.”
Noland was first elected Clerk of Superior Court in 1998, and has been re-elected three times, most recently in 2010.
Prior to that, Noland has served as a state representative and state senator.
In her news release, Noland said under her direction, the clerk’s office has been fully automated, online records made available for viewing, and processes streamlined. She created the court’s collection unit at the request of the Board of Supervisors, and has collected more than $5 million annually in past due fines, fees, restitution and child support.
