Support group facilitator: Facilitate support groups in Sahuarita, Vail or Tucson for children and families grieving the death of a loved one. No experience is required. Must be 18 or older, pass a criminal background check, complete training and commit to regular attendance. Training will be held March 2.
Office connection specialist: Do you have an upbeat, welcoming personality? Office connection specialists answer the phone, connect callers to volunteer opportunities and track calls and responses. Internet, Excel and Word skills are required.
Cat care: Help maintain a clean, healthy environment for shelter cats. Clean litter boxes, mop floors, launder blankets, wash pet dishes. Grooming and socializing cats is encouraged. Volunteer on your own or with a club or organization. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and those under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Front office administrator: Receive visitors and clients, answer phone calls, explain services, help clients with equipment, process receipts, monitor inventory and file documents. Retail experience is helpful as are good interpersonal, communication, listening and organizational skills; patience; accuracy; and basic computer and filing skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Rehabilitation assistant: Help patients being treated for stroke, amputation, arthritis, brain injuries, burns and other conditions. Volunteers are needed to help staff provide activities that support and facilitate achievement of rehabilitation goals established for patients.
