Fort Huachuca is planning two prescribed burns on Thursday in Garden Canyon.
The first burn will be about 1,100 acres in the morning. The second burn of about 780 acres is planned for the afternoon there is time and if weather conditions are favorable.
If the second burn is not conducted, it wll be rescheduled for Friday morning.
Area residents can expect to see smoke in the area on Thursday.
