Hanukkah is time to sing, celebrate at area temple

After a menorah-lighting ceremony outdoors, the crowd moved indoors for a variety of song, dance and theatrical performances, including the drama group's production called "The Magic Spoon." The young actors, above, showed one way to make traditional latkes. The temple will light the menorah at 5:30 p.m. through the rest of Hanukkah, which ends Sunday.
