Full-moon labyrinth walks at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church are held monthly throughout the year. This month the walk will be held Sept. 19.
The walks are free and the public is invited.
The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with a brief introduction to labyrinths and a presentation on how to get the most out of your walk, followed by walking the labyrinth.
Gather in the church plaza (south of the church building), where the labyrinth is located.
Afterwards, participants may remain for fellowship and refreshments. In case of rain, the labyrinth walks are canceled.
Full-moon labyrinth walks continue through the fall.
St. Philip’s labyrinth may be visited at any time. Contemplatively walking the labyrinth takes about 20 minutes.
The labyrinth at St. Philip’s is a nine-circuit octagonal labyrinth, built in the style of the labyrinth at Cathédrale Notre-Dame d’Amiens, France.
St. Philip’s is at 4440 N. Campbell Ave. at River Road. Parking is available in the north parking lot or under the shaded solar parking structure on the east side. The office phone number is 299-6421.
