Pima County sheriff's deputies are searching for a woman suspected of using stolen credit cards to purchase about $3,000 in goods from retailers.

On Dec. 23, deputies were called to a report of a vehicle that was broken into in the 7300 block of West El Camino del Cerro, west of Tucson.

Deputies learned the victim’s purse was stolen from the car. The victim discovered someone was using her credit cards at various retailers.

The sheriff’s Department Auto Theft Unit took over the investigation and discovered there were about $3,000 in fraudulent charges on the credit card. Surveillance photos of the woman were obtained from stores where the cards were used.

The suspect drives a gold Nissan sedan.

Anyone with information can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
