A fire damaged two mobile homes early Monday on Tucson's south side.
A 911 caller reported a mobile home fire in the 3700 block of East Benson Highway just after 4 a.m., Capt. Grant Cesarek, a Rural/Metro Fire Department spokesman said in a news release.
Smoke and flames could be seen from several blocks away.
When crews arrived, the fire had spread to a second home, the release said.
Crews believe the fire started in a single-wide home with a covered patio that connected to the second home, the release said.
Nobody was injured, and the fire was under control within 20 minutes, the release said.
