A teacher’s aide at Amphitheater High School was arrested Tuesday for having sex with multiple students while others watched and recorded the encounter with a cell phone camera, police said.
Clarice Marie Lee, 22, was arrested after school officials alerted the Tucson Police Department that the special education aide was suspected of having sex with multiple boys ranging in age from 16 to 18, Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a press release.
TPD investigators determined that on Jan. 18, “during lunch period, the teacher’s aide and the six students went to a location on the Amphi campus,” Widmer said. “The teacher’s aide engaged in sexual contact with two 18-year-old students and sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student.
“The activity took place in the presence of three other students, one of which filmed the incident on a cell phone video camera.”
Lee was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail on suspecion of four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
She has been employed by the high school since Aug. 2012, working with special needs children.
