Tucson Police arrested two men Wednesday who they say are connected to at least 75 beer skips in Tucson within the last year.

Raymond Monday, 29, and Robert Bowman, 35, were booked into Pima County Jail on suspicion of organized retail theft after they were suspected of stealing beer from a midtown Circle K, according to Tucson Police.

On Wednesday night, a Tucson Police officer saw a vehicle driving without headlights in an alley behind a Circle K at 4702 E. Speedway.

The officer stopped the vehicle and later determined that the suspects had just shoplifted four 30-packs of beer from the store.

Police investigated further and say the pair might be connected to between 75 to 100 beer skips.

The beer would be shoplifted and sold at a home at a discounted price.

Tucson Police is asking any retailers who recognize either man in connection with shoplifting incident to call 837-7431.
