South Tucson police are looking for a 20-year-old man in connection with a Jan. 12 homicide.
Robert Anthony Vasquez, also known as “Poopie,’ is a person of interest in the shooting death of 18-year-old Jacob Leon that happened near South 10th Avenue and West 29th Street, police said in a news release.
Vasquez stands between 5 feet 4 inches tall and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs around 140 pounds, has brown hair and eyes and a light mustache and goatee.
Police believe Vasquez might be living near Lakeside Park on Tucson’s east side.
Vasquez is known to carry weapons and has gang ties, the release said.
