The security chief at the Puerto Peñasco Cereso prison in Sonora has been arrested and charged with drug possession and dereliction of duty.

Omar Loustaunau, 36, of Hermosillo, Sonora, was arrested after a surprise inspection of the prison on Feb. 8 yielded 120 doses of marijuana, 19 capsules of compressed cocaine, 14 ammunition clips and 15 cellphones, according to a release from the Office of the State Attorney General.
