2 San Manuel men arrested in copper theft from closed mine

Victor Gutierrez (top), 46, and Mark Jimenez, 34, were found in the tunnel Saturday night by a deputy who stopped by the San Manuel mine on a routine security check. They were arrested by the Pinal County Sheriff's Department on suspicion of several theft charges related to copper wiring stolen from the abandoned mine, officials said.
