A man who pleaded guilty to robbery and burglary — both linked to an April home invasion — received 1½ years in prison and two years’ probation on Monday in Pima County Superior Court.

Andrew Valenzuela was sentenced in Judge Richard Nichols courtroom for his role in the crime in April.

Valenzuela drove the getaway car for two other men who broke into a woman’s apartment in the 6200 block of South Campbell Avenue.

They bound the woman and stole items from the home.

His attorney argued that Valenzuela has a drug problem, which led him to get involved with the other men who were the main culprits in the home invasion.
