Tucson police released photos Monday in connection with an arson at a tattoo business Dec. 7.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division are investigating the 4:40 a.m. arson at K42 Tattoo and Body Piercing, 3455 E. Speedway, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson police spokeswoman.
Detectives are asking the public to help identify the man seen in the photographs obtained from surveillance-video footage from the tattoo parlor, Hawke said.
The man might be Hispanic or white, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weigh about 200 pounds. The man might be associated with an older model truck, Hawke said.
Detectives are also investigating a Dec. 28 arson fire at 5:19 a.m. at K42 Tattoo and Body Piercing at 6142 E. 22nd St., Hawke said. Both tattoo parlors are owned by Nicholas Becker.
Detectives found evidence that both fires are linked. Call 911 or 88-CRIME with information on either fire.
