Man who robbed Tucson Walmart sought
Deputies are looking for a man who robbed a southside Walmart Neighborhood Market Wednesday night.
Investigators released surveillance footage of the robbery at 2823 W. Valencia Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, said Deputy Tom Peine, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
The man, who was wearing dark pants, a dark sweater and a beanie, had a bandanna covering part of his face, said Peine.
The man walked into the Walmart market at about 9:45 p.m., brandished a handgun and demanded money. He fled the store on foot, headed south with an undisclosed amount of cash, Peine said.
