Marana police are looking for a man and a woman who broke into a car and stole credit cards and checks.

The pair, each believed to be about 30 years old, might be driving two different vehicles, a blue 1998 to 1999 Volvo, four-door sedan with tinted windows, and a white 1990s-model Chevy pickup with a black bed liner, but no rear bumper, Sgt. Jose Alvarez, spokesman for the Maranta Police Department, said

On Jan. 12, a car parked in the 8900 block of North Yellow Moon Drive in Marana was broken into and the owner’s purse was stolen. The thieves used stolen credit cards and checks to make purchases of just more than $1,000 at two Tucson Walmarts and three Circle Ks, Alvarez said.

Anyone with information can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
