Tucson police are looking for two people who have been impersonating police officers for the last seven months.
The man and woman drove around in a vehicle equipped with emergency lights and sirens conducting traffic stops between December 11 and June 10, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
They were typically dressed in police uniforms and were equipped with police gear, Widmer said in a news release.
The fake officers gave verbal warnings during the traffic stops.
In one instance, they even intervened in a fight while wearing their uniforms.
Anyone who may have had contact with the man and woman are asked to call 911 or 791-4444.
