A man who died in the hospital five days after he was injured in a fight was identified as Raul Arizmendi, police said.

Arizmendi, 55, was injured Sept. 16 at his home in the 200 block of South Norris Avenue, near East Broadway and South Kino Parkway, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Police searched for two people who lived with Arizmendi. Arrest warrants were issued for Wiley Michael Troy, 33, who was Arizmendi's nephew, and Charlie Haney, 24, after Arizmendi died Sept. 21.

Troy and Haney were arrested in California Sept. 26 by the West Covina Police Department. Troy was wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder, and Haney was wanted on suspicion of aggravated assault, Widmer said.

Tucson police detectives were in West Covina last week following up on the investigation, and Troy and Haney will be extradited to Tucson, Widmer said.
