A Sierra Vista man with a uncommon haircut linked to a July burglary at a school is in custody, police say.
Jason A. Readye Jr. was arrested today after he gave a false name to officers responding to a noise complaint, Cpl. Scott Borgstadt, a spokesman for Sierra Vista police said in a news release.
Readye had been linked to the July 26 burglary at CAS School located at 900 Carmelita Drive, in which a wallet containing several credit cards had been snatched.
Readye matched the description of the distinctively coiffed man caught on surveillance camera at the school as well as at several area stores where purchases were made with the stolen cards, Borgstadt said.
Readye was arrested on suspicion of burglary, credit card theft, forgery, resisting arrest and drug possession, Borgstadt said.
