A man, 19, was fatally shot Sunday night on Tucson's southwest side.
Pima County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of gunfire in the 6400 block of South Camino de la Tierra, near West Valencia Road, shortly after 11:40 p.m. and found Jesus Duarte on the ground with several gunshot wounds, said Deputy Tracy Suitt, a spokesman. Duarte was taken to a hospital where he died.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
