A two-vehicle crash Monday evening injured four people, one with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The collision in the intersection of North Park Avenue and East Grant Road occurred at 5:30 p.m., said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

A Dodge Ram pickup traveling north on Park, and a Chevrolet sedan headed east on Grant crashed in the intersection, Widmer said.

The driver of the truck was not hurt. Four people in the sedan were taken to hospitals, said Widmer. He said all were adults.

Traffic detectives were at the scene, and the intersection is expected to be closed until 11:30 p.m., said Widmer.

Motorists should avoid the area.

No further information was immediately available.
